Phew! :yeahthat:'s part of the job completed ... the least enjoyable part that is ... I've finally stripped off :Erm: the old wallpaper in the bathroom this morning - after 17 years - so, by any stretch of the imagination, it's served me really well.

Yesterday afternoon, I *repainted the ceiling - yes, in more or less the same *colour as previously and, since we both like it ... :anerikke: ... why change things?

 Tbh, this is the first time I've done decorating of ANY sort since before Myrna arrived in March 2009, so it's long overdue. However, needless to say, I'll still be popping into the forum on a regular daily basis - in fact, almost as frequently - especially whenever I'm feeling like a bit of light relief from the tedium that such chores entail. :icon_lol: ... like now!

I HATE decorating ! :Brick:

I've been laying carpet tiles today...something I now know I also hate.

What I really enjoy is sawing and screwing and hammering and banging.

Anyway, enjoy it Arthur. I'm sure you'll both be pleased with the makeover. :)

Thats funny, me and Ems was just talking about doing our house again. The trouble for me is we seem to start in the bedroom and somehow when we try to move the bed we end up in it, then we
both think it looks ok seeing it from there

Decorating can be hard work in our present spell of hot weather and it gets harder as we get older

Camp coffee was first made for British army officers during the days of empire.

Never knew that, I always make it with hot milk and just half a teaspoon of sugar using two teaspoons of Camp, just had some earlier, delicious! :xxgrinning--00xx3:
