I did it from Sitangkai across to Sabah, but you're right, even though his family have money he is going to have to sit it out either inside nick or outside, he hasn't got any luck :NoNo:

If he has access to funds then it definitely sounds like a good idea to get to out, and I'm sure money will buy a ride. However, once you get to one of these neighbouring countries, how do you deal with the fact you have no entry stamp in your passport when you try and leave? Or is that where the embassy/consulate comes in?

When I went back-door from the PI no one in Sabah greeted our boat when we landed at night. :smile: When I came back from Sabah to Sitangkai with a boat of illegal immigrant Pinoys there was no customs or immigration officers. :smile: Corridors everywhere :wink:
