I wonder what kind of sentence the hand wringing Judge would have dished out had some of his elderly relatives fallen victim to these scum

Some of these scumbags conned my mother out of a lot of money. I would be happy to see such crooks hung drawn and quartered. :cwm23:

2 got my wheelchair bound sister for nearly 5.5K, I didn't find out until after the event. Found out where they lived, waited outside for 2 days and 2 nights with my lump hammer but only ever saw a pregnant woman go in. lost track after that, only hope karma does it for me.

Mind you I was also peed off with my sister, how stupid to give most of the money up front . she knows better than that, she really believed them :Brick::Brick:

My mum is 88 next month. She is not stupid, but they did gardening work and then asked for a ridiculous amount of money after doing virtually nothing. She was frightened of them...then too proud to tell my brother-in-law and nephew....both police sergeants, until it was too late.

Sooo sad, if only she had talked to her relations :) but that seems to be the way things work
