Blimey, too expensive for me :yikes:

I had some trials of the globe Tattoo both fixed and mobile.
The speeds were both brill.........when i could connect and at certain times.
The mobile wifi is very troublesome depending on the weather.
Sadly Globe couldn't give me enough time to have meaningful tests.
Still too expensive for me over the 36 month contract they wanted.

I managed an upgrade with PLDT at P1400 for 2.5 Mbps
I've never managed more than 1.2 Mbps but generally get 1 or more. Enough for most things including iPlayer via my VPN

We have Sky broadband being installed in out village right now.
I'll never pay p30k though.

As the article states speedy internet when money is no object

It depends on your location.. We got lucky as Globe built a tower near us..I can see the light on the top of it..
3mb cost 1.299 and at first I was getting over 3mb speeds.. Now around 2.5 average..
I`m glad its not any faster though as our data package is only 30 Gb per month.. There goes Youtube!!
One good thing is they gave us a phone (like mobile phone) they call a "landline"..we can call unlimited to Globelines or cell numbers free.. That alone pays our bill.
