Nice, the problem with the bottom picture is they never get out of their cars unless there is a camera crew following them

10 years ago they used to hide behind trees holding a gun..
Speed gun!
I nearly got nicked once for doing 35 down a country lane with a 30 MPH limit..
Lots of trees for them to hide behind... Not many cars passing by though. Speeding or otherwise...:doh
The last time I got stopped was doing an amazing 50 MPH in my calibra on a sunday in an empty Industrial estate.

These days many people get done for speeding doing 33mph in a 30mph and how many people get fined for driving in bus lanes, yes you are the driver so its down to you,
Not enough police on the roads but lots more cameras around , look how much revenue they bring in to the local council

I have to say that the accidents here on our island are not caused by drunks or by those taking drugs..Most accidents here are caused by people here that are not taught how to drive.
Most people here have absolutely NO idea who should give way to whom, when to overtake and when not to..Most think they can pull out stone cold sober onto a highway on any junction and prefer overtaking on the curve of a hill or on a blind corner!!!!!
Most accidents here have nothing to do with drink or drugs...Ignorance is the biggest road killer here..
Mind you..Ignorant druggies and drunks make it worse!!!
Regardless..If a foreigner ever knocks one of these Dickheads off their bikes day or night regardless if they have headlights or not or if they are drunk or stoned or whatever....The foreigner is at fault..By default..
Never forget that and you will probably be fine.
Its their country..Their rules..Not ours.

When we hired our motorbike over there, that was scary, and the people you see riding without helmets - so dangerous. Best way is to get someone to drive you or walk.

Remember the old roadside poster, "Undertaker" It freaks me out when someone suddenly appears on the near side :yikes:
