Beginning next month ... ALL potential Council employees - and NHS staff - will require to demonstrate a level of proficiency in language skills ... expected to be equivalent to GCSE at Grade C or above.
Police Officers, Social Workers and, naturally, those aspiring to be recruited into the Teaching Profession will also be affected by these New Rules ... which form part of the Government's Immigration Bill in its efforts to improve standards of communication skills. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Long overdue - the idiots who allowed illiterate third world trash and Eastern Europeans into these jobs in the first place should be sacked. Public facing is not far enough it should be all public sector workers
