So does that mean its going to be cheaper for the thin ones

Common sense I'd have thought. Everything on a plane is weight-critical. Good business sense too. More fatties mean less cargo...and less space for slim folk like me.

Hmm ... :anerikke: ... seems Air France already charges obese passengers for two seats:

Just a way of charging people more who are over weight

They should concentrate on hand luggage and enforce those rules
Hand luggage these days seems to be a small suitcase :NoNo:

The less likely I am to have a fat sweaty individual sitting next to me (and overflowing into my space) the better. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Want to fly ?

Lose weight...or become an Ostrich...and walk.

Hopefully it will encourage people to get down to a normal weight and be able to live a healthy life and live longer, also lessen the burden on the NHS:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Yep...in the news today...3 million with diabetes in the UK now. Mostly through being OBESE. :NoNo:

The NHS shouldn't have to to be wasting money on idle gluttons, who would otherwise have been healthy.

If I can give up smoking (including on the plane), then they can stop stuffing their faces.

You have a point, Graham, but not everyone is as intelligent and self-disciplined as you .
