In the old days we use to try to switch over the channels quickly so we would not see , but trying to get the remote of Ems , well i might as well go to bed :NoNo:

That annoys me, and also doing a review of what has been shown already a few minutes ago :doh

....or telling you what the weather WAS like today ? :doh
It was Dragons Den that was particularly getting my goat this week.
I also like to watch Bargain Hunt...that's another one with the 'and later...' , but then most of the stupid programmes do it now, presumably because the fools running them imagine we've all got the attention-span of a goldfish.:Brick:
Next minute they're telling us we've got an ageing population (who obviously would be irritated by such practices, and don't hop around the channels like kids).
Who do they think is watching most of the daytime TV ? Do they think we've ALL got Dementia ? doh!:anerikke:

Yes good point and intensely irritating. I think they've probably learnt this from the Americans who have to do it so that people don't bugger off during the adverts.

Yep...pity nobody in THIS country doesn't seem to have the IQ to realise this ISN'T America. :NoNo:
...and, a lot of these progs are on the BBC, with no ads anyway !
