A British Airways 777's left engine burst into flames in take-off at Las Vegas airport (not Rolls Royce). Luckily, it never got airborne, otherwise it would have crashed. All 172 people managed to evacuate safely, and the fire was out within 6 minutes.
Some of the stupid passengers took luggage off the plane during the evacuation. These are :furious3: idiots. Not only can the luggage damage the slides, but it wastes times, and can slow down the evacuation. This can result in the people behind dying, for what? Saving some underwear? :doh
