Ok I know we have been waiting nearly two weeks so far.

Was hoping for a decision in a month.

What was the time others waited who have applied recently?

Can't help feel nervous.

I have some time off soon and am really hoping I can fly out for a short break in Cebu before returning with my wife.

If I believe what the UKVI website states for June 2015, 90% are done in 30 days.

Between 30 - 60 working days for 60% - 97% respectively.
Working days exclude weekends and holidays.

It's normal to feel so anxious for this big a life impacting decision in the hands of those who don't know you at all.

We're all crossing our fingers and praying for your positive outcome soon.
Hang in there Phil it'll all come right in the end

Harlene's took 6 weeks back in October last year.

The waiting seems a lifetime, but it will soon be over.

I have my fingers crossed for you

My wife was based in Cebu but we flew to Manila to process her visa, i was there with her at the time. This was back in 2012 and the time scale was 3 weeks. Not saw this will help you but still gives you some idea of the time it can take.

Can't go by this, but it all depends on the workload - bit like most of our workplaces really.

It can take three months - and it does sometimes, but you can very often work out a pattern if you know people applying very recently.
By sheer coincidence, various members on here were applying about the same time as us - at that time there were quite a few active members who were talking about their applications - and there was a pattern, they were getting results in just over 5 weeks. I on this made a guesstimate on when we might get our decision - lo and behold my guess was 4 days out (Bank holiday was involved though so that might have made a difference).
Don't think anyone else on here is applying now, so can't do that, but gut feeling is that this isn't going to be a busy time of year. Good luck fella
