Police Clearance

Hi All,

I am trying to secure a Fiancé Visa and I think it was Cheekee that mentioned that my Fiancé would also need to get Police clearance as well as we need to get the CFO sticker before I can fly my Fiancé to the UK.

I have enrolled her to take the IELTS A1 test and to have the TB Test, so I am thinking we can then apply for the Visa, when we have the Visa need to get the CFO sticker and this Police Clearance thing.

My question is where does she get the Police Clearance from? Is it her nearest city which in her case is Naval which is on the island of Biliran, Cabucgayan?

No its needed for the CFO. My wife just did it and she needed police clearance.

My wife lives in Cebu city and got it there. I'm not sure about where you're wife would go as I'm not familiar with that region.

Make sure you're fiancée states its for travel abroad. The fee is slightly more expensive because of this.

I have also seen "NBI" clearance mentioned but as far as I know NBI clearance is not needed, just the Police Clearance for the CFO Interview.

Is that correct?

We didn't realise we needed it for cfo until the day of the seminar.

She had to rush off during a break and get one.

2) get NBI clearance (specify for travel abroad)

need 2 valid ID for both of these.

Okay thanks for the clarification, so we just need NBI clearance not Police Clearance. It is so confusing, I just want to make sure we have everything they need, with nothing left to trip us up!
