well im sure someone is going to post it sooner or later so here it goes http://www.rappler.com/nation/108450-italian-restaurant-kidnapped-dipolog DIPOLOG CITY, Philippines – An Italian businessman, former missionary priest Rolando del Torchio, was reportedly kidnapped by unidentified men about 7 pm on Wednesday, October 7, at his pizza restaurant inside the Andres Bonifacio College compound here.
Dapitan Police Chief Divin Ceriales confirmed the kidnapping incident. He said he received an urgent call from Senior Inspector Romer Lim, chief of the Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office (ZNPPO) Intelligence Division, informing him that the former priest had just been kidnapped. at least he had a good time for 27 yrs there

It seems this is his second time as he was abducted during his time as a priest.
Rumours abound, of course.

Some lunatic running amok with a knife hardly equates to what is happening on Mindanao Island :doh
The hostage was not a foreigner also and yes that makes a big difference
Mindanao suffers from extreme Islamic groups who seek out foreigners to kidnap and these groups have a long history going back many years of setting off bombs on public transport and in public areas
I will repeat what i said before i admire your tenacity when it comes to defending Mindanao :biggrin:

perhapa you can tell all of us not so smart people -what are the% of getting kidnapped in mindanao over getting killed in some accident or shooting in uk ,oh that right you wont reply since you would rather hide in your bed and call people names :NoNo:
