Why? Because it's the first video compiled by my nine-year-old grandson ... Ewan Ian McIntosh - from the village of New Deer in Aberdeenshire - in which he talks candidly about his pets. :smile:

I have a precious tape (now also saved on my computer) of my son and I having a conversation, plus him singing, when he was 6 years old... 16 years ago. :smile:

There were some home movies too, but my ex kept those. :cwm3:

Oh ... :anerikke: ... there've been many other snippets taken of each of my two grandchildren when they were much younger. But the reason I'm so excited :Jump: about the one I've shared here is, it's the very first to've been actually made by Ewan himself. :wink:

Ah, :icon_rolleyes: ... I don't imagine that you're alone there, :NoNo: - especially in "getting to grips" with the Doric dialect peculiar to the North East of Scotland - which ... :anerikke: ... even I, myself, sometimes have difficulty in making out. Probably, in my own case though, :olddude: it isn't helped by me being 'plagued' by ongoing hearing problems.
