While out driving does the wife/partner fall to sleep,
Ems can drop of while i am talking away to her, YES YES YES, HAVE YOUR SAY, IAM BORING YOU WOULD FALL A SLEEP TOO,
Thats got that of your chest now back to the thread,
I do know it is boring sometimes sitting there as a passenger and i too have fallen to sleep,
Driving towards Stratford the other day and Ems counting down the miles and is looking forward to seeing Shakespeares house and having something to eat too,
Next minute it all goes quite and we are going round the last island before coming into Stratford and yes she is fast asleep, EMS ,
Wow she says i nearly missed it and started laughing ,
I should have drove through and said nothing, it would have been cheaper, and we would have been home sooner then in rush hour traffic too

obviously trusts your driving falling asleep is better than gripping the seat :icon_lol:

My wife fell asleep the other day on the way back from Norwich.

She doesn't do that on the back of the motorbike in Cebu though lol.

Bet she doesn't ... if it's anything like the experience I had when riding pillion on my son's motor bike on one of the occasions he took me out for lunch a few years back on my birthday.

I do fall asleep all the time coming home from Liverpool. When the travel gets boring and routinely, you can't help but fall asleep. :icon_lol: So don't blame your wives. :biggrin::xxgrinning--00xx3:

I would love another big bike , but Ems would not like it, after traveling from Panglao to the Chocolate hills on the back of a small motorbike, and back in the rain, she said never again, boy did she walk funny after that, or was it something else :biggrin:

Hmm ... :iagree: with Ems; better without, Steve! Thankfully, Ally's 500cc Suzuki (or whatever make it was/is :Erm: - I've forgotten!) has, for a few years now - to the best of my knowledge - been stored away in his [concrete] outhouse where, hopefully, :pray: it will remain!

Its more of a comfort thing now Arthur , nice and warm in my car, plus it is safer these days too, its just the other idiots on the road

Take it as a huge compliment when people do that.

It means they are totally relaxed with you driving...rather than hanging on with white knuckles. :smile:
