My filipino wife is now a British citizen, she dosen't have dual nationality so as she only has a British passport, what are the present laws on the land and house she is building in the philippines. As a British Citizen She will come under the rules that cannot buy any land or property other than a condo.. Or is there exceptions etc etc..
Anyone know about this, information would be appreciated Ohshe owned these before she became a british citizen not after..

She's allowed to buy up to 1000 Sq/m of residential land until she attains dual citizenship when she can buy as much as she likes

Oh I see, well both land and house in separate towns are combined less than 1000sq m, Can the ''Plot'' and the house being built combined be classed at less than 1000sqm?
