Well is it right the older you get the wiser you become, others may say the older you get the more of a pain you become too,
Well i am 57 now and it seems my instinct has left me ,
Before i use to see something and go for it, now i still think the same but when it comes to the last bit i have to think, is it the right one to go with,
Trying to book travel insurance , wow a great price but is it too cheap, even booking a hotel room , right no breakfast great but Ems want wifi , wow thats extra , right better start to look again,
Its a pain becoming grown up and having to think what if,
What gets me though is the first one i looked at is still the best deal , so why did i not book it,

Personally speaking, I have just become even more cynical, bad-tempered and intolerant. :olddude:

Getting much better at not spending any money though.

...Wonder if this is why I'm starting to look like a homeless person. :Erm:

I did exactly the same thing last month whilst booking our holiday. Ended up costing us another 25,000php :doh

With age comes wisdom. Not always!

yes its true, youth and instant decision taking led to mistakes so as i got older i learned to think first, besides saving you from possible mistakes, iv also learned that thinking first you miss out the bargain often, but is that not better than loosing more

Well if you miss a bargain, that's ok because you didn't spend!:xxgrinning--00xx3:

A bargain is when you're happy with the end result regardless of price.

I've always believed that price alone never makes a bargain.
There's always someone out there who knows a cheaper price with twice the benefits.
They think

I have had a few good bargins , and its all the stuff i have read about and seen the price before then just started looking, and yes you can save tens , even hundreds of pounds if you are prepared to look around,
People seem to have to go to the same big name shops with there bright name carry bags just to say i brought it here and i can afford OR CANT AFFORD it from there too,
