Hello everyone,

In behalf of my husband Eddie, we would like to say our gratitude to all of you who helped us through the process of my spousal visa application. I received myl visa within 2 weeks . I submitted on feb 4,2016, got an email from the embassy on feb 16 and vfs texted me on feb 17 that my documents are ready to be collected, picked up my documents on feb 18,2016.

My tb certificate will expire on april 7,2016, however,i booked the flight on april 8,would that be a problem in the immigration?

Thank you!

Regards,

Pam and edd

Well done ! :Jump:

Hmm.. think I'd bring that flight date forward a day or two though.

Anyway, why wait any longer ?

Personally ... :anerikke: ... I cannot see what difference one day would make, :nono-1-1: but there again :cwm25: ...

... Immigration officials tend to be sticklers for protocol, so :iagree: with Graham, in feeling the most logical  would be to play safe by rearranging your travel date accordingly. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

When my wife arrived at Heathrow in 2014 on going through immigration the officer pointed out that there was only one day left on her TB certificate. I asked if it had been out of date would she have been refused entry. He said no she would have just been examined by a doctor on site. So there would have been a hold up, but i think you would be ok.
