O dear, can you afford a drink is the question,
Its amazing these days where there is email and fax and but you still have to use the letter system for something so important like this,
What about asking the family for help

That's a ridiculous amount of time to get a letter delivered :yikes:

I had to send a letter on Tuesday which was important so sent it via FedEx, picked up from my office at 4pm Tuesday, delivered and signed for midday Thursday :xxgrinning--00xx3:

The other letter that arrived was from the head of complaints manager, re my complaint last Christmas:yikes: But he gave me his direct phone number, and can you believe a direct e-mail address:Jump::Jump: and I received a reply in a few hours:xxgrinning--00xx3::xxgrinning--00xx3:It turns out these life forms say you have eight weeks to return them, when in fact it is 16 weeks:doh due to many complaints about postal delays. So payment will be made as usual. If I had known this I could have saved 1,600 pesos and sent by normal airmail.:doh

I agree with Simon, if it's of key importance send by fast courier.

I've sent a number of letters via Philpost registered at P1400 and it takes around 20 days.

Any important docs...Send DHL.. 3/4 days at the most I have found.
