Can't say I blame him, :nono-1-1: ... because, apart from the Chancellor's swingeing proposals in last Wednesday's Budget, the DWP itself is - in my experience - a most difficult Department to contact ... since its offices are, for the most part, inaccessible to members of the public and its (0345) :telephone: system, a nightmare to negotiate, as I've found in the past ... to my literal cost!
Luckily ... :anerikke: ... when I'd occasion to transfer my State Pension from one account to another, recently, I was able to prevail upon the services of a personal banking advisor to conduct the transaction on my behalf, on the pretext of my being hard of hearing. Phew! :wink:
