Indeed, two~times~over, that date's of special significance to me, Alan ... and your kind & thoughtful reply is, as always, very much appreciated! Edith, though, at the "relatively ['scuse pun] young" age of 67 is still very much alive, thankfully. :wink:
Yes, I'm fortunate in being blessed with the ability to remember dates in general ... particularly those associated with familial connections. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

You certainly know many dates in your family and in your life Arthur,
I am afraid i dont know many at all, but my way round that is to ask others when is it so and so birthday, and hopefully its not gone by

I only know my sisters birthday because I was present at her birth and busy burning the afterbirth on our fire, never known any other family members birthdays because no one ever mentioned when it was their birthday!:Erm:
