I am confused about when to apply for a BRP. Does my wife get a BRP after sending off the FLR M application or before?

One step at a time, Speedyman ... :anerikke: ... 'fraid BOTH you and your wife will need to "walk before you can run".

By that, I mean you'll have to send off the *FLR(M) application *first ... then - once it's approved - her British Residence Permit will be issued (generally within a week or two afterwards).

Good Luck! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

The application for FLR(M) also contains the application for BRP

Is this her first FLR(M) following entry as a Finacee?

Or her second FLR(M) following entry as a spouse ?

she will get a brp when her application for flr m will be approved. they will send the brp to your address and that serves as your wifes visa.

" 28 days before her visa expires she has to lodge an application to extend her stay (flr m), the HO will then request your wife using a letter to do her biometric on a post office that offers biometric services, when everythings fine and good she will receive a letter to say the application has been approved and the brp follows.
