Joseph Merrick or known as the Elephant Man ,
There is a campaign to try to bring his bones back to Leicester so he can be buried where he was born,
His skeleton is kept at the Queen Mary university medical school,
A sad but brilliant film was made about his short life,
Would it upset you if your skeleton was on display and not buried where you was born, it would not bother me

We are talking about a time where 'freaks' were exploited and his body/skeleton was seen as a money maker. History I guess, but to be honest, what good does it do to bury his bones? If we have to worry about putting his bones to rest, we might as well empty all museums around the world.
