How much is enough to live happy and not having to worry ,
Yes we are all different in what we are wanting but we may still have the bills to pay and the little bit of luxury too,
Now may are living there dream but what is the cost, some say that they need this and that income coming in but if you have that said income is it all spent or is so much put away for a rainy day , so say you must have 50,000 peso each month but you save 20,000 each month for that rainy day and you dont use it , then maybe you could live on say 40,000 and put away 10,000 peso, see what i am getting at,
Now what would happen if you only have 30,000 a month coming in but say you have £100,000 in then bank for that rainy day,
Ok you may not be able to save much each month but you can always take out your savings for that extra trip or even a bill too,
Its hard having a set amount coming in if its not as much as people are saying you may need but its also hard knowing you have savings but whats the savings for i am asking myself

Steve, you already know there's no right or wrong answer.

Let me say this, when living in Davao City or Marikina City we would really struggle to get by on P30k
When we 'staycation' in ComVal we can easily manage on P20k per month and that includes feeding family members, having beach parties with karaoke and plent of beer.

Different lifestyle completely.

Regarding savings, that £100k would be really a nice back up but it all depends how sensibly it gets used.
It's very very easy to spend a lot of money here.

You really need to have Emma to fully buy into any decision.

Good luck with your continuing deliberations :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Life is too short to be stressed and unhappy.
Being happy is a choice

Thats the problem, Emma loves it here,
It must be worrying to come from somewhere where you are happy but you are limited because of funds, then being somewhere where there are funds coming in regular and you can buy with in reason many things, then worrying that you are going back to where you may be struggling again, i do try to say everything will be fine , and i do understand too,
Never mind each month we are here the bank account is getting bigger
