Here's a personal recommendation onthe subject of good foods and cold beer. We found a place not far from our condo called Tong Yang. It's an all-you-can-eat buffet / Shabu-Shabu / BBQ where tables include both smokeless grill and Shabu-Shabu twin pan. The food is just the best. The San Mig beer is not just cold, not just draft but unlimited.
The price is under P600 per head. Quite a bit less than Vikings or Four Seasons which charge around P800 or more per head.

I just love cooking my own foods at the table when I want and how I want.
There's plenty of different fish to choose plus shrimp, crab and shells
Or for the carnivors there are freshly sliced beef strips, pork and chicken.
They have imported Aberdeen Angus beef at an extra cost of P199 per 100 kg

For anyone interested in that style of dining our Tong Yang branch is located in Greenhills.

Do you get seated straight away or is there a queue ?
Loved Vikings at SM North on our last visit but both times we went we had to wait almost an hour to be seated.

We've always been able to get seated right away, but having said that the place fills up quite soon after.

Pretty much all the good eating places have folks waiting at some time or other. Most people want to eat out from around 6 pm in the evening we generally try 5:30 ish

Like you we have often had to wait for a table and sometimes up to an hour. Just the two of us.

Seems to me that eating out is a passion in the Philippines Regardless of the time of day places are always full.
