The other day when waiting for Emma to finish work, there was this commotion going on down the road,.
I must say this is inside the hospital where A& E is and there are people coming and going all the times, anyway as i am sitting in the car you could here this man shouting.
Well as it had nothing to do with mm i just ignored it, but as usual it came my way.
This bloke was walking then turning round and shouting at this women who was quite away back from him, he walked a little more turned round and shouted again, you could see this women was sort of frightened and every time he stopped she stopped , infact she turned to run,
Well everyone was staring but as usual the all seemed to walk past,
It got to a stage were i got out the car and stood there watching this man as he threw insults at this women and each time he stopped and walked back to her she ran, where was the security there are cameras everywhere and this had been going on for around 20 minutes, i must add this i was parked in a doctors only zone so i dare not leave the car plus these 2 people where foreign,
In the end i had to go to the young lady and ask if she was ok and if she wanted any sort of help, she thanked me and said no.
Its hard to get involved sometimes but again its hard to walk away when you can see a bully too,

Difficult to get between something like that Steve. That is why most do not. I saw similar while in the Philippines and I said to Charie about getting involved, but she said he might have a gun or knife so leave it. Same for here these days too.

I'm the same. I want to help in these sort of situations. But always wonder if they are carrying a weapon.
Gone are the days where a fight was a fist fight and the stronger man won. Now it's all about knives and guns!

Difficult situation, if your not too handy yourself suppose you could have sounded your car horn until enough people came to see what all the noise was about...

Played the good samaritan when I was younger and for my troubles I spent the night in hospital after getting jumped by around a dozen thugs. Not worth getting involved in an altercation between stranger's. Not worth it at all.

Not sure what I'd do to be honest, you have to weigh up the situation when you're there :Erm:

Leaving the supermarket on Sunday I saw a chap in a wheel chair struggling but I'd already gone past, but not being in particular rush I did a quick circuit of the car park to see him still there trying to balance himself and lift the chair into the boot of his car. I just dumped my car in the road and spent maybe 2 minutes giving the chap a hand, but what amazes me is that maybe 20 other people must have seen him and decided to do .... all to help

I once did a similar thing or at least offered to help, the man told me in a not so polite way he does not need my help, he's quite capable of looking after himself, so my proposed good deed left me feeling like a pratt....:doh
