Great Western Railway locomotive, "Thornbury Castle" - built in 1949 - has been bought by steam aficionado, Jonathan Jones-Pratt ... who's stored it in his Weston-Super-Mare Bus Depot. :cwm24:

Hmm ... :anerikke: ... seems this chap's a "pratt" in name only - with a purchase  like that!

I love all things steam.... and of course my home city is home to the National Railway Museum, which I almost popped into yesterday, as it happens, but there was a bit of a queue, so I continued on to our beautiful curved railway station to catch a (less romantic) train home.

Took a picture, while waiting.

Another great find Arthur, also nice photo Graham. Was a model railway enthusiast from the age of twelve until my late thirties and regret selling it all, love Pete Waterman's model railway I would think it's one of the best in the UK:xxgrinning--00xx3:
