According to the latest news reports ... the death toll so far stands at 159 - on top of which, at least another 368 people have been injured - in this calamity which struck approximately 100km or 65 miles north east of Rome.

It is very tragic..
Why is it that the buildings in that part of the world shake to rock and dust burying all those inside like that?
Apart from the old Spanish churches,we didn't see much of that here in Bohol and ours was a 7.2.
