Hi
My name is Mark and I live near Oxford.
My fiancée Brenda introduced me to this forum sometime ago when we were preparing her application for a visa to join me in the UK.
The posts and advice here certainly gave us hope whenever we had doubts about the success of her application.
She submitted her application in on 7th December and this morning, as I was chatting to her online, HER VISA ARRIVED! (14 days and no personal interview!)
The best Christmas present ever for both of us!
Funnily, the first thing Brenda told me today when I logged onto Yahoo Messenger was that she had a dream last night where she received her visa, and was jumping for joy. Also, I'd fallen asleep on the sofa last night, but woke up again to log on at 3:00am, literally minutes before her visa arrived.
Spooky or what!
We're still pinching ourselves that it's actually true, and not just a dream.
I know Brenda would have liked to have shared this news with the members here herself, but unfortunately someone has seen fit to ban her from posting messages.
I would like to ask that person to reconsider that decision. Brenda would like nothing more now than to share her experience with other members and to offer her help, advice, and confidence boosting support to anyone else about to embark on this adventure.
From reading Brenda's many posts here (under the pseudonym Bridget), and the supportive replies of other members, I think Brenda has a lot to offer this forum. Her intentions are entirely honourable, and she only wants to help others.
