'Brexit' has thrown open speculation as to the number of British nationals who can lay claim to an :irish: heritage ... thus entitling them to an Irish Passport.

It is widely believed that as many as one in four could fall into this category.

Which, by definition, is encouraging news for those of our members who feel that they may, in fact, qualify! :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Well I am (through grandma).

Application just being prepared at the moment.

Yesterday I received 3 certificates from the Records Office here in England, that I needed.

Next... birth certificate and marriage certificates from Ireland (details of which I have already traced online).

Same as me Graham.....:xxgrinning--00xx3:

My Grandmother was Irish through and through

I'd never (so far) considered an Irish Passport and I'm not sure how it might benefit me either now or in the future?

I'm just covering bases.... and claiming some heritage. Who knows what lies ahead ?

Missed out on other things in the past.... like not topping up my Woolwich account before they gave out the shares. :Brick:
