Toast i love it, i can eat it for breakfast dinner and tea, just add jam and i am in heaven.
Now our toaster broke a few months ago and tight git Steve went out to get a new one, into wilkos i went and there it was there own brand and all for a £5, :xxgrinning--00xx3:.
Home i went with this new toaster and got it out of the box put the plug in and got the bread out and it did not fit.:doh
I like my bread toasted all over and this new toaster would only let me put the bread in standing up, then i had to turn it round and toast the top bit, i tried to cut the bread into two slices but it was not the same so i went of toast.
Well would you credit it, a lady at work is having her kitchen refitted and all new toaster, microwave, kettle and so on, she walks into work and asked if anyone wanted a toaster, up my hand shoot and in the box was a very nice delonghi 4 slice toaster , its red but it goes well with our silver microwave and black coffee/tea/sugar and mixed colored mugs.
Steve is a happy man again .:xxgrinning--00xx3:

Money goes to money hey steve  if you trod in cack, you would come up smiling, especially when you look at those shares today.. word of warning, shares buy low sell high, get the USA elections out of the way, then cash those shares in, wait until the market drops then wade in again...

Good question.

Why DO these stupid manufacturers make toasters so small ? :Brick:

Go and measure a damned loaf for goodness sake. :anerikke:

In addition to the regular toasters, here in the Philippines we have the so-called 'oven toaster'.

Small multipurpose bit of kit that can toast any size of slice at any thickness. Cheese on toast works perfectly.
It can cook all sorts of stuff and is very popular. Many different brands and styles around. Not expensive at around P400-P800
generally. Available everywhere.

Must be available in UK I'd have thought :Erm:

Yes you can get them here in the UK now Peter.

Agree... handy little things. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I will buy a microwave in the Phils though, as I'm already an expert with one.
