Visa to Have Wife's Child Join Us In The UK > A Couple of Questions.....

My wife and I are currently in the middle of completing the online application form to have her under 18 daughter join us here in the UK ...... my wife is now a British Citizen.

This is the application we are using https://www.gov.uk/join-family-in-uk/overview

I have a couple of questions.

1) Does my have have to meet any financial thresholds (if so what is the amount)?

2) What additional evidence should we enclose with the application?

I remember with my wife's Settlement / Fiance Visa I supplied details regarding my house, salary, mortgage statement, letter from employer etc etc etc etc is similar required with this visa?

Good question that i am unsure of as well ...as my wife arrived here before July 2012 when the rules changed ...My wife does not earn 18k on her own but together we earn way over that ...am curious to hear how you have found the process so far .

Same with me New Shoes my wifes visa status is excatly the same as yours we have a trip in march booked where we would like to visit the VFS to place her application .....my concern is the min salary as my wife only earns 16k ....at the same time one of her local pinnay pals whos here on a ILR has brought her son here who has a diffrent farther to her current hubby ??

Have read through that several times and my head is spinning ....

I see references to applicant and partner but no mention of IF my salary combined with my wife salary who is applying on behalf of her daughter can be added together as it clearly states if the min is not met its a definite refusal .
