Anyone been to the plain of 3000 temples at Bagan in burma (yes i know its now called myanmar but it was burma when i was last there)?My sons getting a few weeks off university soon so I am booking us a trip,i was at angkor in 2015 its massively touristed now and the balloon flight was so/so :anerikke: the hot air balloon flight over bagan looks spectacular as does the temple complex itself,just wondering if any of you had ever been to both and how did you think they compare?
