To me one of the best sporting events starts this weekend. The six nations ,
The sport will be show live on TV, no Nancy boys running 5 yards then kissing each other, no jumping down the refs throat wanting to kill him,
Bring it on and may the best team win who ever they are I say.
Don't try to ring me over the next few weekends I won't answer while a match is on.

I thought you would have one of these bars that are half in and half out off that Olympic size swimming pool of yours Simon, a big 72 inches TV screen and every channel under the sun too,

Difficult for me to watch now. Yes I agree one of the best.
I also like to watch and follow the Tour de France cycling. I find it fascinating and exciting.
That reminds me, I must save up and buy a new bike. Seems many are cycling along the banks of the Marikina River. Good concrete surface and pretty level.
Not sure how many kms can be covered but looks to be a really good amount.
I do miss my regular 2 hour cycling routine when we lived in Davao.

The tour De France amazing, again great sportsmanship and super fit too,
When the time comes for us to be over there we too will have cycles, along the river Peter are those concrete cows/ bison or is it water buffalo still there

Yes, they are concrete carabao (water buffalo)
So popular for picnics, photo shoots and courting couples etc.
Little bit better than the Milton Keynes concrete cows in terms of aesthetic and location IMHO
There's a portable (floating) footbridge across the river just by them. I cross that whenever I walk to SM City Marikina. (most days)

Last year during the peak of the rainy season those carabao were mostly submerged by the river.

One day when you are walking across that pontoon this scruffy bloke with a camera around his neck may just say A Up Peter how you doing,
Now that would be nice

That would be very nice.
Especially if that bloke invited me to the food court at SM Marikina for a jar or two of San Mig draft:hubbahubba:

Well i think England was very lucky in today's match , we will have to play better then they did if we want to go forward in the future matches , but i must say France did play very very well, and so fast too.

Wouldn't exactly call a 27-22 win a trouncing Arthur :cwm25::doh

 Slight exaggeration on my part, perhaps ... :anerikke: ... but they won - which is, after all, what counts.

It was close in all the matches , maybe nerves , but they all have to play better, there was more action in the crowds when the cameras panned into them , all family entertainment .

What two great matches played today, England was very lucky to take the win , and like i have said all the teams did play very well.
Watching the crowds and the players and even the ref, it is truly a game for the whole family to watch and enjoy.
Even Emma was screaming and moaning and yes it was the RUGBY not me

Here we go again, Saturday and Sunday one of the greatest sports live on tv.
Scotland and wales the first match, then switch over to the other side and you have France and Ireland ,
Then on Sunday England play Italy , what a weekend of real sport, may even have a curry later :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Well what great games they was, a little disappointed that Wales lost.
Ireland's match was very good, the best side won too i think.
Shame about the weather , looking forward to the match on Sunday.

Well its another great afternoon of sport, well thats if you like Rugby.
3 good matches i hope will be played but the last one is the most important one, England will play Ireland and if they win they will have the grand slam the triple crown and 18 matches undefeated , its going to be good.
But like anything in life there is bad too , and its bad for me because i have to fetch Emma from work at 6pm, now do i record it all and wait or watch it then record the rest , :doh

Sorry will be putting my daughter in bed for a nap at 2.55 then putting West ham V Leicester on. Don't particularly like rugby, but might catch the end after the football.
Been fun wearing my West ham hat around Leicestershire this week, probably backfire on me now though that they've had a change of fortunes the past couple weeks.
