Time share has a bad name,
I can remember going to a few while on holiday in Spain and when i was there there would be a shout and a bell ringing because someone had brought one there and then.
Well i did not buy and i did not get the free gift because i was not there the full 2 hours of hard sell, but it was fun at the time.
Anyway i do have a time share infact i did have two at one time.
Many many years ago in another life we use to holiday in the USA with family members who lived over there and they owned time share too, and on one occasion they took us to see and we was so impressed we brought it on the spot.
There was no hard sell at all we had the holiday to think about it and we could have said no too, but we got a great deal at the time and i still say today " we did good".
Well move on many years later and a divorce well would i buy again, NOT A CHANCE,
In the divorce package the ex did not want them at all so i had them , they was all paid for so all i had to do was pay a set amount each year for so called maintenance and thats it.
I have sold one and the other i keep and use it when i want or sell it to someone if i dont want to use it, it works very well for me and we have been to some amazing places where we just would not pay those amounts that normal folk has to pay.
Our accommodation can be anywhere in the whole world and at anytime we want too, ok if its not available for our dates we may have to look else where or try different dates.
I have just made a extra week from doing this and that plus i get bonus weeks too, ok i may have to pay a fee for these weeks but again i think its worth it in my eyes, the other year we was at Palm Island in Dubai , a two bedroom villa over looking the Burj Al Arab and that cost me £87, and thats for the villa not per person.
So i think Time Share is great , its all paid for and all i pay each year is a fee.
When the time comes to move from here there are lots of places i can use in Asia and Australia so i may just keep it until i give it to the kids but like anything if they think they have to pay for something they then dont want it, but if its free well they have done well in there eyes ,
