Just thought I'd mention I'm still painting the house......:Cuckoo:
Still rewiring, still adding new sockets and upgrading old ones.
Still repairing the great work of our builders (2 different teams)
To be honest, even though I enjoy the work, I'm getting fed up with it now.
It's taking me longer and longer. I often take 'days off'
Now I struggling with the bloody cornice moulding and just how to mate the corners :Brick:

When Emma was shouting ,sorry talking to the family this morning i was looking at the house, the inside still looks great , nice and clean and i am so pleased. cant wait to see it and start our new venture.
But maybe after a month or so a holiday will be wanting.
Have to arranged a house warming when its done :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Looked at the title and thought, :doh ... 'rather you than me'!
Scrolling down to the comparable pictures of the property, however, I decided that - much as I am fond of a splash of colour - I'm inclined to prefer the building as it was in its former state.
