A Scottish business man was so inspired by his Philippines visit that he is planning on importing Nipa Huts or Bahay Kubo

You all know the sort of the thing I mean I'm sure.
Great idea for the garden and the British summer BBQ

A bit more residential than a garden shed and more interesting than a summerhouse.

Hope he does well.

We transport for a company that has things like these, maybe a little smaller, the cost are amazing, into the thousands but he sells them by the boat load.
I must admit mainly to the London area and they are delivered all flat packed too. i have been trying to get hold of a damaged one sort off "wink wink no what i mean".

We've seen some very nice examples in Davao City for around P15k-P20k
Flat packed and ready for assembly and installation

Couldn't even guess at the shipping cost though

About 6/7 years ago there was an English bloke exporting flat pack Kubos from R.P in containers..
He was all over the internet and even had Filipino workers there to assemble them on site including tying the nipa on etc..Complete package..
Something somewhere must have gone pear shaped as it only lasted about 2 years..
I wish these people success though!!
