Not bought one just yet, but a friend has just brought a kitvision or something like that of eBay for £28 free delivery and new.
This was selling for £78 in Sainsburys the other day .
I have see it and for that sort of money you can't go wrong.
There are so many on the market these days why pay your £150 to £350 for your gopro.

Why buy GoPro over a generic action cam?Mines voice activated, its 4K its remote controlled,it fits the gimbal on a dji phantom pro drone, its got a host of features that most generics don't,its easily updated on the GoPro site, theres a number of GoPro apps for editing in minutes and adding music etc,i like the GoPro brand

The price of the GoPro is just to much for a gadget , and thats what i will be using it for to play around and have fun with, then it will be thrown into the drawer
That price i would rather spend on a used or new lens or something for my camera.
So for £30-£50 its something that is worth a play with.

my misses bought one of these for our daughter which we took to El Nido

She used it mostly for taking under water pictures and videos, I've not checked the quality on the Pc yet, but they seem ok on the camera. low light shots are not as good as a GoPro but then its less than £50

I suppose it depends on if picture and sound quality is so important to you that it's worth paying the price difference :cwm25:

the reason my misses bought the cheaper one, she was worried it would leaK, or sink to the bottom of the South China sea (like my MI band 2 ended up :icon_lol:) or get lost or stolen, also video and sound quality were not that important
