Long drive to Edinburgh

Looks like we are going to Edinburgh.
Yes a wedding to go to too and do you think you could be the photographer please.
What an honour, i thought and the hotel room would be free too.
So where is the problem then, the wedding is on a Saturday in Princess Street Edinburgh at 10 am.
I cannot leave work until 7 pm Friday night.
That's some driving and i will be knackered i know but i will do my best to get there and to get the best pictures too.
Plus Emma would like to place Edinburgh on her list of places she has been too,

Maybe you can stop over somewhere 1-2 hours from Edinburgh the night before. Its quite a slog up there but traffic should be OK by 7:30 or so when you set off. I'd be tempted to go via the A1 instead of the M6 since traffic will be OK.

We shall book the hotel for Friday night but get there around midnight or very early Saturday morning, that's if everything falls into place.
