Officers from a Police Department near Portland, Oregon, could scarcely believe their eyes :grosyeux: when - after being alerted to a woodland area adjoining a small seaside town - they discovered
a cat perched in a tree ... with what appeared to be a *sniper rifle :NEW4: clutched between its paws but, on closer inspection, proved to be a branch. :biggrin:

Hoax call? Maybe ...:anerikke: ... but the cops took it in the spirit it was, perhaps, intended to be, a :joke: - and had a laugh about it in the end.
