I'm surprised they manage to keep statistics with everything spread around, and corruption probably means they are not added.

I am hoping to do my best to keep the statistics HIGH this year!
(Actually, having read the article I think it means nothing - it refers to just one part of the Philippines and ONLY to annulments done by the church, not to civil annulments which, I think, are much much more common.)

I would have thought like Ian says that the Church is putting some spin on it no one ever publishes a suvey which doesn't show what they want us to see.
