Any Thoughts?

Hello, my girlfriend has applied for a visitor visa to come to the UK. We applied online, sent it off, then she went to Manila with all the paperwork. That was on 4/7/17. On Friday, she received a phone call to come to Manila for an interview. Anybody got any thoughts what it might be about? Is this a normal thing? Any advice would be appreciated.

If it's a visit visa, they will probably want to see proof that she intends to return to the Philippines before the visa expires. Perhaps providing proof of a job to return to too, or family or other commitments.
