I am from London, I am fine. My nephew's fiancée and baby daughter are in Mandaue. The daughter has just applied for her British passport, waiting for it to be processed then they are coming to London.

Hello, :welcomex: to our midst ... we're a friendly team - so really, there shouldn't be any need to feel "shy"!
How to apply for spouse visa?
Like most of our male members here, I brought my own Filipina partner to the UK. Admittedly, that was 81/2 years' ago. Inevitably, there have been a number of IMPORTANT changes to :Britain:'s Immigration Rules since then ... as set out in the following link for guidance purposes:
www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa ... click Item 2. Apply as a Partner or Spouse.
N.B. :please: read carefully. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Fred, normal processing time is one year + now... according to the research I've done across different expat forums.
The 'helpline' is a non-govt agency who don't even have access to any of the paperwork, so pointless wasting phone-call money. :anerikke:
I'll give it another month or two, then email the passport office. (I am able to track the application online).
