Hmm ... :anerikke: ... guess I'm one of the few on here who's willing to openly acknowledge the truth of the matter.

Sison in fact co~founded the Communist Party of the Philippines along with the late Ninoy Aquino, in an attempt to topple Ferdinand Marcos (Snr) - leading to the declaration of Martial Law by Marcos himself, more than 30 years' ago.

:yeahthat: is WHY one needs to delve back into Philippines' history in order to fully understand the real situation. And, to my mind, it [probably] explains why so many of the younger generation have been brought up to believe that Marcos was a tyrant when, in reality, he wasn't nearly "as 'black' as he's painted". :nono-1-1: ...
