That's per month. Equates to just over £500 I reckon.
Compared with rent in the UK, one can't really complain, but is it worth it compared to other renting opportunities in the Phils?

Boracay is over commercialised to be honest, why pay to be with other tourists in a tourist apartment in a touristed island? Off the beaten track is where it's at.

Valid point. I suppose it would be good for a month but would they allow a short-term deal? Probably not.

First ever went to Boracay when it was a backpacker place, nice island. Last time I went and even had to pay a pollution tax, I thought it had reached tipping point. Nowadays it's got to be worse, far better places out there.

I've just watched a video of someone's trip over Easter to the Phils which included Boracay. White Beach was rammed.
I've been to Boracay in June before and it wasn't too chaotic probably because it was the start of the rainy season. Did spend most of the time on Puka Beach though, which is far quieter.

Boracay is the one place i have avoided whenever i have been on Tour, i have no inclination to go there, from what im told its over priced, and over crowded.

Likewise.
My last apartment (last year, brand new, 2 beds with huge balcony) cost p5,000 a month.
Not in Boracay, fair enough, but nicely situated , peaceful, and 20 minute trike ride from a beautiful beach. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

I agree with you graham, I really have no interest in following the tourists. Find the Philippine’s hidden treasures is far better.
i think people forget that Luzon has many beautiful places to see. Where we live Graham we are pretty much spoiled for choice and have deserted beaches to ourselves. :xxgrinning--00xx3:

They said they got it from Air bnb so probably available short term. Wouldn't mind a month there right now

Another 3 weeks wait for me, then I can go and walk along that beach again. :Jump:
