Hi, this may be out of date but basically you will need at least 62,500k
------------------------------
The applicant and UK partner will need a combined annual income of £18,600, unless:

i) The UK partner (or child) is in receipt of any of the following benefits: Disability Living Allowance; Armed Forces Independence Payment or Guaranteed Income Payment under the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme; Severe Disablement Allowance; Industrial Injury Disablement Benefit; Attendance Allowance; Carer’s Allowance ;) Personal Independence Payment; Attendance Allowance; or Constant Attendance Allowance, Mobility Supplement or War Disablement Pension under the War Pensions Scheme.

OR

ii) The applicant or UK partner have £16,000 or more in a bank account that have been in the applicant’s or UK partner’s control for 6 months or more, at the date the application is submitted. If the amount of cash amounted to £62,500 or higher, this meets the financial requirement alone. If there are cash savings of less than £62,500 (but more than £16,000), this will reduce the amount of annual income required.

Hope this helps
John

Thanks John :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Was unaware you could bring a Pinay over if you were caring for someone :anerikke:. Useful to know.

I might now demote Plan A of hiring a getaway driver to help me raise the £62k .
