Applying for British citizenship

Hi everyone..Here's the thing, I am applying for British citizenship. I am married to a British national, I want to use my marriage surname on applying but on my passport it's still my maiden name..Just wondering if this will cause any problems at all. Any advice is much appreciated..

Your certificate will be based on what name that is written in your passport. I think the easiest way to do is get the citizenship and British passport in your current name and then just renew the passport with your married name showing the marriage cert and other documents in your married name.
