Bills that are not in my name and I can't pay them on line!

Hello again folks. I arrived here in November last year, having paid bills for water, electricity and internet "up front". I managed to sort out Globe for online payment, but the bills for water and electricity are in someone else’s name. I am told that this is "normal" but I'm reluctant to accept that. I am also told that I have to pay these monthly bills in cash at some place like SM. OK, fair enough, but I travel, and I don’t fancy getting the lights and water cut off when I’m not here. Any suggestions?

If you rent accomodation it's normal that the electric and water bills will not be in your name.
Changing the name on those bills involves proof of ownership etc.
The bills can be paid any at Bills Payment centre such as SM, Western Union, LBC etc
Yes cash payment for those is normal.

Just get receipts.
