... from his tower at Windsor Castle - a humorous article on the predicament of the Duke of York, currently persona non grata  within Royal circles for reasons that need no explanation:

https://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/celebrity/prince-andrew-had-lovely-view-of-royal-wedding-from-his-tower-20200720198666 ... :ReadIt:

And underneath - on the selfsame link - an unrelated piece with which :iagree:, the much~missed freedoms society enjoyed back in the 1970s compared with modern governments' obsession with political correctness during the intervening decades since!

:cwm24: ... y'know, I used to fondly imagine the number of views a thread's listed as receiving under the heading 'Today's Posts' would automatically tally with the number of members who've read it.

Apparently NOT! :nono-1-1: ...: according to the first source (as I type) this thread has been viewed 21 times. But by whom? Because, looking at the bottom of the page we're on, I am the only member so far, who's actually read it.

Seems to me, therefore, that those who've seen the thread are either casual guests, or :icon_rolleyes: registered members whose IT skills are of a standard that enables them to peruse posts without leaving any trace/s whatsoever of their online presence.

Well the 70's were the best years of my life, the social scene was great and I worked hard and I really enjoyed my job.

I'd say same for me really Michael. Ups and downs with relationships, but mostly a happy and prosperous time. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
