An appeals court has overturned a 2018 government order that tried to shut down Rappler, a Philippine news website known for its critical coverage of former President Rodrigo Duterte's "war on drugs," which led to thousands of deaths.

The appellate court stated that the SEC "acted with grave abuse of discretion" when it revoked Rappler's certificate of incorporation.

You have to look at a wide spread of media to try and get the true picture. Only sheep follow one news channel. Everything needs to be fact checked, yet only 36% of people do that. The rest just follow the crowd. :sheep:

Regardless of who is in power in the Philippines, or UK, they are both well run countries. All governments get things wrong and right.
