The Super fast superb customer service at Phil Remit Limited, Earls Court London

Contents of a telephone conversation this morning.

Hello Good Morning, I just want to give you the details of a transaction for some money I deposited in your Barclays Knightsbridge Account this Morning.

Have you registered with us ?

Yes My husband already did that yesterday.

As you know I am giving you my reference number, meaning I already have registered with you.

Oh so you did ! we registered with Arnold.

( The customer services rep, then leaned over to ask Arnold if this was true)

Ok so give me the details of, what time did you deposit the money ? where did you deposit the money ?

Is it in Cash ? or bank transfer ?

I just told you, it was deposited in cash at the Barclays Bank.

Ok, so may I now give you the details of who I want the money transferred to ?

Before I can do this, I will need a copy of your passport !

Why do you need this ?

Because we have to ensure that the Money Laundering Act is covered.

Ok so I live xxxxx out of London, whats your address ?

You can send in a photo copy of your passport.

Ok so what about the money ?

Well on this occasion, I can let this go, but we will still need a copy of your passport.

Fine ok, we have sorted that out, so what about sending the money.

Well was it in cash ?

yes it was cash.

Where was it deposited ?

It was deposited in Barclays xxxx !

and what time was that ?

it was about xxxxx this morning !

Oh ok, so who is it going to ?

These are the details, its going to xxxxxxx at such and such a bank.

ok, so can you spell that for me ?

yes its xxxxxx

so then the customer services rep repeats it back....

Sender asks : When will it be receieved ?

this will be in 3-4 bank days.

Conversation ends, with a big phew, I dont do this again.

At end of conversation, Pete has walked to Bacolod City and delivered the money.

When we send money to P.I. i let Dee handle it because I get irate dealing with anything filipino.

I think her and her friends use someplace in Earls Court

It may sound a sweeping statement, and I love my wife dearly, but the lack of professionalism and standards , be it mechanics, plumbers, taxis, shops, ferries, planes, all over the P.I. just p----s me off.

Eating a Mcdonalds with a pump action shotgun being waved around.
Standing in a queue and people just walk to the front in shops
Saying yes when they mean no
Being shy

But guess what...SOMEHOW THINGS GET DONE...eventually. There are some real diamonds out there somewhere.

I think we have been raised to move and think at a faster pace.

Once upon a time, a friend of mine called my house. My wife's brother answered. He kept saying "yes" to anything my friend asked. At some point, he asked, "Are you on fire?" He realized her brother was actually listening when he said "no."
